This is great stuff. As a parent myself, having tools to inspire and “help” my kids organize is truly refreshing. I refer to “help” in a way that many other parents will relate to. Many kids are resistant to “help” from their parents, especially in the teenage years. (a topic for a future Blog post, or two volume book on “raising teenagers for Dummies”??)
Nonetheless, a collaborative set of tools that will allow some latitude on the part of students while their parents “help” them through challenges in school. What is really needed now is a focus by key educators in the primary and secondary schools, to short list many tools so that school districts can exploit a common set of tools for students and parents.
